We know you never slack off at work, but if you did, what would you do?
Ha! You're right. I never slack off and this is in no way being done at work...
I'd prolly get out my jewelry and make it at work. The desk space is so much better than my work space at home. I wouldn't hurt so badly afterwards if I got to make it at work.
Also, I'd read three or four book a week. Stupid work gets in my way right now. I can only finish up about one a week.
What a shame, right? :-)
Okay, we hate to ask, but... over the roll or under the roll?
Ahhh - right up my alley! THIS is my OCD. I will use the bathroom and if the roll is under I will change it. I notice that usually it is changed back when I head back. I'm pretty sure I'm driving someone up the wall by making it over. But over is just the right way people!
What's the most obsessive-compulsive thing you do in a normal day?

Can you believe that I'm actually updating here. Let's just say that my OCD is well under control. My most OCD moments would have to be continuously cleaning off my desk. I can't stand to have any paperwork laying around. I will make special areas and stacked piles so that it all looks neat.
Well, I finally made the move. I decided on no longer owning a domain name - just be happy with what I can get. Come see me at Average Geek. Change your blogrolls cause I'll be over there more than here...
Take a picture of a person who made your day today.

This is the person who made my day today. Ok, it was really yesterday, but he always makes my day!
We went to the Renaissance Festival yesterday. I'm going to work on uploading some pictures to my flickr account, so keep an eye out!
I did go and get my hair cut on Wednesday. I absolutely love the but. It's the first time I've had it at this length on purpose (the other times are passing through since I'm always in the process of growing it out). You can see that my hair looks much thicker and the highlights are standing out better. I love this haircut so much! I'll be keeping it like this for a while. (It'll make it easier to dye also)
I have an opportunity to apply for a caseworker job. I really would rather have a job in IT. There are rumors that the IT person is fed up with his position and may be leaving. He even hinted at it today during our NCSSA meeting. I just found out about the caseworker position an hour ago. I have until tomorrow to get this application into the system. I'm trying to figure out if I'm ready to begin a new position since I've only been here almost a year (October 24th is my anniversary). I love my current job, but it poses no challenge.
A lot of people are all about my long hair. I know my family thinks the long hair is the best look for me. I just wish I had more to do with my hair. I wish my roots weren't so dang dark either - I can't keep up with $125 bills every time I want to get my roots fixed.

So, yeah. Books.
I am currently reading through Carl Hiaasen's list. I've read several people he has recommended.
I used to keep up with all my books over at All Consuming, but when I got this Vox account and books were a list here, I just stopped. Jonathan Kellerman was recommended to me by my future English professor. She is also working on writing some things and we got to talking instead of counseling me and my future career (which has absolutely nothing to do with English - I just take the classes cause I know I can ace them). She added quite a few new-to-me authors with which I'm very pleased. (See I can use good grammar - and lots of parenthesiss).
This has turned out a lot longer than I meant it. My bad.
Show us some great sunglasses.
Well well well... Maybe you should be working in a jewelry store? Either that or at a library. read more
